Location: Sarriá Barcelona, Spain
The project is about projecting an exclusive isolated detached house on a 251m2 unbuilt plot in Barcelona, at the foot of Collserola. The challenges of the project consist in taking care of the relationship with the neighbor and taking advantage of the maximum possible meters of the plot for the house, generating a garden where you can enjoy.
To take care of the privacy with the neighbors, a practically blind wall is proposed that faces north. Moreover, in order not to block the views of the neighbor, the roof is made inclined, reducing the height of the perimeter and thus the house is separated from the neighbor allowing entry of light.
The house consists of two blocks, one more delayed to create a garden space. Each block has a sloping roof.
